Ae Jung is a female band member who is already over the hill. Min Ki Seo and Lee Young Shim hated the sight of each other at first but later developed affections along the way during their daily fights and disagreements. Min Ki Seo was a doctor who looked down on people and was a haughty person until he met Lee Young Shim and her child who had AIDS. Lee Young Shim was a very cheerful and positive person despite the difficult life she was facing. Through her, Min Ki Seo slowly changed for the better into a warm and caring person.

Na Bori (Gong Hyo Jin) is a 25 year old woman who desperately wants to be a teacher at the high school she was kicked out of due misunderstanding with her teachers over injuring a group of male classmates. After getting her GED, she rejects job offers from other high schools and works on becoming a teacher at her old high school so she could work side by side with her high school love interest, the art teacher Ji Hyun Woo (Kim Da Hyun). However, the only thing that enables her to get the coveted job is by signing a contract to essentially babysit Park Tae In (Gong Yoo), a troublemaker who attends the same high school. Tae In, a lonely youth, quickly becomes the "jjang", or "king" of the high school, and enjoys playing mean tricks on Bori whose easygoing personality attracts the majority of her students. Noh Jemma (Choi Yeo Jin) is jealous of the relationship between Bori and Tae In, and goes out of her way to get Bori kicked out but she's not the only one against them...

Growing up as the best of friends, Sang-doo (Bi) and Chae Eun-hwan (Gong Hyo Jin) make lots of lasting memories during their shortened high school years. When Eun-hwan's family goes into bankruptcy, debtors rush into their house to grab all of her family's belongings away. When somebody takes her father's old record player that she really loves, Sang-doo goes after the guy. In a physical fight, the man falls off the bridge and enters a coma. Eun-hwan, not knowing this, runs away from the town. Sang-doo goes to jail, returning to find out that his family and Eun-hwan have left him. Years later, he becomes a gigolo (with his uncle) in order to raise the hospital bills for his sick daughter (Se-ra (Hong Soo Hyun) claims that Bori is her daughter). Eventually, he meets his long-lost first-love, Eun-hwan as a high school math teacher. In an effort to never lose her again, he returns as a high school student (to finish his last years of high school) and gets placed in Eun-hwan's class. In numerous funny yet heart-touching moments, Sang-doo vows never to become a gigolo again. Yet, his past deeds have caught up with him, and he is soon sought after by the police. Eun-hwan's boyfriend, Min-suk (Lee Dong Gun), also does not want to let go of Eun-hwan. First love is something beautiful yet painful to these two lovers, who have reunited after ten years to find out that everything is not the same anymore.

Although at first unwillingly, Jo and Gong later become the best of sister/brother-in-law. They depend on each other for help, trouble, and fun. Oh Yuhn Soo, Jo's wife, is grateful at the happy relationship, but things go astray when Gong grows a greater affection for Jo. When Gong confesses her feelings for Jo, the two start to grow apart. Although they later end up in the same police department, they try hard to avoid eachother, and Oh starts to realize the reason why. Kim Rae Won is Gong's friend and the son of a rich hotel owner. Although he knows that Gong likes her brother-in-law, he never gives up his feelings for her. Things seem to turn out alright when Gong starts to date Kim and forget about Jo, but her sister Oh dies. The dangerous yet innocent love for her brother-in-law puts Gong in a terrible situation...how is love different in a family? The beginning of the drama, when Gong is a high school student, is very humorous. The drama is well-written, but if you don't like the unconventional idea of a sister-in-law liking her brother-in-law, you shouldn't watch this drama. Kim Rae Won is portrayed really well, and the character fits him perfectly! worth watching.
