The Hotel Del Luna, located in Seoul, is not like any other hotel: its client are all ghosts. Jang Man Wol (IU), stuck in the hotel for the past millennium, meets Goo Chan Sung (Yeo Jin Goo), the new manager.

The drama is based on 2016 ABC/Netflix TV series “Designated Survivor“. It’s tell the story of a bomb going off during a presidential speech, the terror attack causing devastation and leaving the head of the Ministry of Environment, 12th person in the line of succession, in charge to run the country. He must serve as the acting president for 60 days and protect his country and family from various forces.

Park Moo Jin (Ji Jin Hee) is a former professor of chemistry and now holds the Minister of Environment position. He doesn’t have ambition, personal beliefs or political sense as a politician. One day, high ranking government officers are gathered for the President’s State of the Union address. An explosion then takes place, killing many government officials, including the President. He is the highest ranking government officer left alive. He doesn’t want the position, but he must sit as the acting president for 60 days. He chases after the person or group responsible for the explosion and he grows as a national leader.

Do Chi Kwang (Han Suk Kyu) is an elite detective. He is thoughtful and smart. He is also proud of his record of catching criminals. Kim Young Koon (Seo Kang Joon) is a police officer and member of the mobile patrol team. He acts cold to other people, but he is actually tender with a warm personality. To find the truth behind that case, he joins the internal affairs investigation team.

Han Tae Joo (Kim Hyun Joo) is a popular lawyer. In her past, she worked as a prosecutor. She became entangled in a case unexpectedly and survived even though her life was in grave danger. She then quit her job as a prosecutor and became a lawyer. She meets Do Chi Kwang and Kim Young Koon and joins their internal affairs team.

This drama is remake of 2014 Fuji TV drama series “昼顔〜平日午後3時の恋人たち〜 / Hirugao“ which is starring by Ueto Aya and Kichise Michiko.

This drama tells the story of politicians and their aides who try to climb up the political ladder.

Jang Tae Joon (Lee Jung Jae) is a lawmaker’s assistant who works at the National Assembly. He succeeds in making his boss leader of the party but, as an ambitious man, he wants to achieve more.

Meanwhile, Kang Sun Young (Shin Min Ah) is a lawyer who often hosts a television series where she talks about political affairs. She isn’t fond of aides, which is one of the reasons she doesn’t like Jang Tae Joon.
